New impetus for the US market

Christian Schilling is the new Vice President of Neugart USA Corp.

Personnel reinforcement is on the way from Germany to Neugart USA Corp. in Charlotte (North Carolina), the American subsidiary of gearbox specialist Neugart GmbH: Christian Schilling is taking over the management on site as the Vice President. Matthias Herr will continue as the President of Neugart USA Corp. in conjunction with his role as Business Development Managing Director at the company headquarters in the South Baden town of Kippenheim.

Neugart is intensifying its presence in the American market with this new personnel appointment: "Neugart USA Corp., which was established in 1997, is our oldest foreign subsidiary, but we are not at all attaining our market potential there", says Matthias Herr, describing the current situation. "Our goal is therefore to move away from our image as a gearbox manufacturer and position Neugart as a global partner instead."

Christian Schilling will take over a central role in this strategic alignment as the Vice President of Neugart USA Corp. Prior to taking over this new task in April 2019; Christian Schilling worked for Neugart's Baden-Württemberg commercial agency for many years.

"Christian Schilling is familiar with the Neugart product range, customer structures and sales strategies due to the breadth of his experience", says Matthias Herr, explaining the personnel decision. "We will also be able to make better use of synergy effects from the customer relationships in Germany, Europe and the USA and develop them further."

Christian Schilling (37) is married and a proven expert in the industry as a qualified surface technology and material science engineer, with a strong focus on international technical sales.
