Neugart and employees donate €2,500 to Alina
As a part of last year’s Christmas party, Neugart GmbH and its employees raised €2,500 in a raffle and has donated the funds to Alina Manke.
Alina is a cheerful, life-loving girl and tireless fighter. Despite the fact that doctors insisted she would have a very short life expectancy, Alina is now 11 years old. Since birth, Alina has faced several disabilities, a heart defect, blindness in one eye and can neither speak nor walk.
Daily life is often challenging for Alina, her twin sister Leonie and their mother Silke. Regardless, the three of them continue to overcome these challenges together.
Now Silke Manke, Alina’s mother from Kappel-Grafenhausen has put hope in the success in therapeutic horseback riding also known as equestrian therapy or Equine-Assisted Therapy (EAT). Alina’s previous experiences with such therapy left positive results and has given them hope for further improvement and development.
The cost of equestrian therapy treatments are high and must be paid for by the patient or their family. Thanks to several donations, this summer Alina will travel to Tenerife, Spain accompanied by her sister and mother to undergo therapy treatment.
“This donation helps Alina in specific terms. We sincerely hope that this therapy will be successful aid Alina’s long-term development,” said Bernd Neugart, Managing Partner of Neugart GmbH.
