Swen Herrmann appointed Head of Sales

Neugart fills one of its key positions and focuses on developing even closer partnerships with its customers

Customer satisfaction has been fundamental to Neugart for over 90 years. "This is the only way we have managed to be successful over several generations," says Managing Partner Bernd Neugart. "However, it is important to us to maintain and deepen these good relationships and to incorporate our gearbox technology expertise into new customer projects.”

A key player in developing these new projects is the newly appointed Head of Sales, Swen Herrmann, who has been with Neugart for five years. Before his new appointment, Herrmann worked as Head of Product Management and Marketing. "Swen Herrmann has proven in recent years that he can successfully and sustainably develop processes and particularly close relationships with our business partners. He has the necessary agility that a rapidly growing company like Neugart demands," says Matthias Herr, COO Business Development, whose business unit includes sales. "Our customers have immense confidence in Mr. Herrmann. We are therefore very pleased to have enlisted him for this challenging role."

In total, Swen Herrmann has more than 15 years of experience in drive technology. As a graduate of mechanical engineering, Herrmann began his career at Hobart, a dishwasher manufacturer in Offenburg, Germany. He then moved to Parker Hannifin as a Product Specialist and Product Manager. In May 2013, he came to Neugart as Head of Product Management. In 2016, he also took over the management of the marketing department. He is 38 years old, married and father to one daughter.

As Herrmann begins his new position, product management and marketing departments will also undergo reorganization. Sven Borho will be the Product Management Team Leader for the entire Neugart Group and Thomas Herzberg will be appointed as Marketing Team Leader. These shifts in leadership reflect the continuously increasing demands of the global customer structure on Neugart, and Neugart’s continual commitment to providing exceptional products and services.
