New appointments in the Neugart management team

With two new appointments from within its own ranks, Neugart GmbH is starting the new year with an eye to the future under the umbrella of Neugart Holding GmbH: Matthias Herr, previously Business Development Manager, has been appointed as the third Managing Director of the gearbox based specialist. His previous position will be taken over by Swen Herrmann, most recently Sales Manager at Neugart.

Degreed business economist Matthias Herr, 38, already represents the fourth generation of the owner family Neugart-Herr and now moves up to the management level as part of the succession planning. Neugart will thus remain the family-owned company among gearbox manufacturers in the future. 

In the course of the restructuring, Swen Herrmann, authorized representative, will become the new Business Development Manager. The 42-year-old mechanical engineer had been Sales Manager since 2018. Prior to that, he led product management for five years and also marketing between 2016 and 2018 at Neugart. 

Supplemented by Matthias Herr, the managing partners Bernd Neugart and Thomas Herr continue to form the management team.
