Neugart GmbH celebrates the grand opening of its pioneering Plant 3

Neugart GmbH, a leading global manufacturer of precision gearboxes and drive systems, celebrated the opening of its state-of-the-art Plant 3 at its headquarters in Kippenheim during a festive ceremony. With an investment of over 25 million euros and an impressive floor space of 7,000 square meters, Neugart is sending a clear signal for growth, innovation and efficiency in production.

Construction of the new plant began at the end of July 2023 and was successfully completed within 20 months. Plant 3 significantly expands production capacities and forms the basic prerequisite for achieving the sales capacity potential of over 200 million euros.

“Our customers rely on Neugart for high-quality drive technology. With the new plant and the associated increase in capacity, we can process current and future orders even faster and more efficiently,” adds Managing Partner Matthias Herr.

Another important step is the complete relocation and commissioning of the machinery, which will begin on March 10. This measure will ensure that the state-of-the-art infrastructure is optimally utilized to meet increasing market demands.

The opening ceremony was attended by numerous partners and guests from the worlds of politics and business. The guests of honor included Marion Gentges, Baden-Württemberg's Minister of Justice and Migration, members of the Bundestag Yannik Bury (CDU) and Johannes Fechner (SPD), Markus Ibert, Lord Mayor of the city of Lahr, and Matthias Gutbrod, Mayor of the municipality of Kippenheim. They paid tribute to the innovative strength and strong regional roots of the Neugart Group, which will be further strengthened by the new plant.

The new Plant 3 in Kippenheim is symbolic of Neugart's long-term vision as a family business with almost a century of tradition that is focused on the future, digitalization and international expansion. Neugart thus remains a reliable partner for the automation industry and an important employer in the region.
