A new version 4.4 of the NCP design software is available

We are pleased to announce the release of version 4.4 of our Neugart Calculation Program (NCP) design software. With this version, we offer users of our drive train calculation software even more efficient and user-friendly options for the optimal design of their applications.

Optimized system thanks to "motor trace import"
One of the most important new features is the "motor trace import" application. This simplifies the optimization process considerably, as tracked motor currents can be read in directly without having to convert them into Torque. An integrated smoothing function also ensures more precise data analysis.

High-resolution support and improved user-friendliness
We put a lot of emphasis on improving the user experience. NCP 4.4 now supports high-resolution screens in 4K quality, ensuring a sharp and easy-to-read display. Functions such as “undo” and “redo” are now easier to access, and favorites can be saved for motors and gearboxes. Another new feature is that the load capacity of the gearbox is displayed directly as a percentage in NCP 4.4, allowing precise control of the design parameters.

Further innovations and continued enhancements
In addition, we have optimized the gearbox design by calculating the strength of the output shaft in accordance with the current FKM guideline and increasing the calculation accuracy of the gearbox loss torques. New motor series have been added to our motor database and existing data has been updated, giving you even more choice.

With NCP 4.4, we provide you with a powerful tool that paves the distance to the most efficient gearbox/motor combination. New features and enhancements make the software even more intuitive and versatile.
