Christmas donation to the aid organization "Engineers without Borders"

"Donations instead of presents": this was the motto of the latest Christmas campaign, with which Neugart GmbH supported the work of the aid organization "Ingenieure ohne Grenzen e. V." with a sum of € 2,500 as part of its sustainability strategy and social commitment.

Specifically, this donation will support a project in the mountain village of Chã das Furnas in the northwest African island state of Cape Verde: The infrastructure for basic sanitation and water supply is being expanded there. These measures will create additional educational opportunities on site and specifically improve the living conditions of the inhabitants in the long term and minimize the rural exodus.

The Charity, based in Berlin, has been implementing practical and professional solutions in the areas of water, electricity and sanitation for 20 years in joint projects with local partners at schools and in rural communities around the world. In addition, the organization in Germany makes it easier for people with refugee and migrant backgrounds to enter the German labor market through specialist language courses and technical workshops.
