China: Neugart lays the foundations for continued growth

Neugart has now officially started production at its new production plant in Shenyang, China. The opening ceremony took place in mid-March in the metropolis’s Sino-German Industrial Park. Neugart is the first company to have built there. The total investments plowed so far into this new production site amount to €3.5 million, and the current payroll lists nearly seventy employees.

“We are now advancing with great strides in China,” explained Managing Partner Bernd Neugart. “In 2016, we grew by a solid 28 percent in the Chinese market.” The new factory today boasts a production area of 5300 square meters.

Several hundreds of guests were present at the inauguration ceremony – customers and business partners, members of the employees’ families, friends of the company, and media representatives.

“Our promise to our customers is: We never fail to deliver the best know how, the highest product quality, and a service that exceeds all expectations,” added Bernd Neugart. “That is why we’re entering the regional markets with our strength – gearbox technology.” Neugart has now been represented for thirteen years in Shenyang. Shenyang is the cultural and trade center of Northeast China and is the capital city of Liaoning Province. About 7.2 million people live in the city. In addition to the freshly inaugurated plant, Neugart also has nine further sales partners throughout China. The expansion was fueled by the successful work of recent years.
