Neugart with first sustainability report

As a regionally based, family-owned company, Neugart has always felt bound by values that make responsible interaction with people and resources a matter of course. Now the first annual report documents the implementation of our comprehensive sustainability strategy in accordance with the DNK standard.

The German Sustainability Code (GSC) provides companies with a standard for their regular sustainability reporting, also with a view to development over time. The framework for this is provided by the twenty DNK criteria and supplementary non-financial performance indicators. These cover not only aspects such as climate-relevant emissions and resource management, but also, for example, human and employee rights.

The DNK-compliant documentation of all relevant measures is carried out continuously and always retrospectively. For this reason, the follow-up report for 2022 is already being prepared.

On the one hand, the GRI SRS Sustainability Reporting Standard enables Neugart to evaluate its own actions with regard to sustainable management in a transparent and standardized manner. On the other hand, interested parties, first and foremost customers, can also fulfill their goals and verification obligations with regard to sustainable supply chains more easily and comprehensibly.
