Neugart launches new version of design and calculation software

A motor is a motor and a gearbox is a gearbox. If only the  world was so simple. However, in reality there are over 11,000 common motor series and finding the right gearbox depends on the type of the application. The Neugart Calculation Program (NCP) tames this jungle.  

The right product is just a few clicks away.

 

Recently, the NCP Version 3.2 was released. “With our software, we have developed a tool that is easy to understand and easy to use,” says Swen Herrmann, Head of Product Management & Marketing at Neugart. “Once again, we have added a few features to make NCP more helpful and meaningful because that’s what counts for our customers.”  

The product database in NCP 3.2 contains over 11,000 different motors. On the other hand, the user can determine which application to calculate with just a few clicks. “The user interface is self-explanatory,” says Herrmann.  

When a user arrives at the final step, NCP 3.2 will automatically generate the product code which can then be used to obtain dimension sheets and CAD models of the corresponding gearbox from the Tec Data Finder.  

“We wanted to make NCP 3.2 as simple as possible without sacrificing the complexity of the application,” says Herrmann. “After all, we developed this tool for our customers to make it easier for them to make the right choice.”  

Of course the latest product, the shortest right angle gearbox WPLFE, is fully integrated into the database.
