A successful logistics practice day with the wvib Academy

Neugart GmbH once again had the honor of hosting the intensive practical day as part of the “Logistics Management” course at the wvib Academy. This event offered the opportunity for an exchange of know-how and provided interesting insights into current developments in digitalization and process optimization.

Our doors were opened to committed logistics experts from medium-sized industrial companies, who had the opportunity to experience the topics of the future directly on site. During the seminar in Kippenheim, the participants were able to delve deep into our Logistics Strategy 2025. One focus was on innovative supply chain design, high-performance supplier management and a sustainable increase in efficiency.

The insight into our Smart Factory was particularly impressive. Here we demonstrated our automated material flows with AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles), UWB (Ultrawide Belt) and the state-of-the-art Autostore system. Digital assistance systems and our new Plant 3 were also the focus of interest.

Thanks to our transparent processes, which enable agile order planning and control through our MES system (Manufacturing Execution System), we were able to bring our vision for future-oriented logistics to life. Since 2018, we have consistently taken steps to anchor logistics excellence at Neugart - a roadmap that we proudly presented.

The open exchange with participants enriched the event and provided valuable insights into industry-relevant challenges, visions and best practices in logistics management.
