Topping-out ceremony for Neugart Plant 3 in Kippenheim
Neugart GmbH, a leading global manufacturer of high-quality gearboxes and drive systems for automation technology, celebrated the end of the shell construction phase for its new Plant 3 together with builders, planners and architects on March 13, 2024 with the topping-out ceremony at its headquarters in Kippenheim.
With the impressive investment sum of more than 25 million euros and a usable area of over 7,000 square meters, Neugart is sending a clear signal for future growth and improved production processes. Plant 3 expands the company's production capacities at its home site in Kippenheimer Keltenstraße and helps to meet the increasing demand for high-quality gearboxes and drive systems.
Construction began at the end of July 2023 - a major milestone has now been reached with the topping-out ceremony and the first construction phase of the project has been successfully completed.
Bernd Neugart, owner of the Neugart Group, warmly welcomed the participating firms W&V Architekten, Ingenieurbüro Erb, Ingenieurbüro T.P.I. Trippe und Partner, Haller Industriebau, Kern Hoch- und Tiefbau, Zimmerei Kindle and Volz Heizung-Klima-Sanitär, who made a significant contribution to the success of the celebrated construction phase.
Swen Herrmann and Holger Obergföll, the two CEOs of Neugart GmbH, are looking forward to the newly created production capacities and are confident about the future. Holger Obergföll emphasizes: "With the new plant, we are not only sending a clear signal for our future growth, but also for our continued innovative strength and our demand for the highest quality. We want to continue to support our customers with first-class products in the future and ensure that they receive the best possible solution for their individual requirements."
Swen Herrmann adds: "Our customers rely on Neugart when it comes to high-quality drive technology. With the new plant and the associated increase in capacity, we can process both current and future orders even faster and more efficiently."
The construction of Plant 3 is now progressing rapidly and is expected to be completed in fall 2024. Neugart will thus remain a strong partner for the automation industry and an important employer in the region.
