It has a clear focus on cost-effectiveness without compromising key features, such as the sealing concept and dynamic drive system. With three frame sizes, numerous ratios, and a selectable torsional backlash between 1 and 5 arcmin, the NDFC offers a customizable, efficient solution for your pick-and-place application.

Optimized radial shaft sealing for enhanced durability

The specially engineered radial shaft sealing ring ensures ideal flexing behavior which is crucial for the frequent and rapid directional changes typical of Delta robots. This results in reliable sealing performance and significantly extended service life.

Precise positioning and faster cycles through minimal torsional backlash

With gear tooth backlash kept below 1 arcminute, the gearbox enables highly accurate target positioning and reduces the need for readjustments. This results in improved position repeatability and shorter cycle times—ideal for dynamic applications.

Dynamic drive system for rapid directional changes

The NDFC gearbox features an aluminum clamping ring instead of steel, significantly reducing inertia at the fast-rotating input shaft. Combined with a low-friction radial shaft sealing ring that minimizes breakaway torque, this design enables extremely fast changes in the direction of rotation, ideal for high-speed, dynamic applications.

Corrosion protection through nickel plating and stainless steel

By combining a nickel-plated output flange (available upon request) with a stainless steel output shaft, the gearbox achieves robust corrosion resistance on the output side.

Food-grade lubrication

On request, your NDFC gearbox can be filled with food-grade oil. The lubricant complies with NSF H1 and ISO 21469 standards, ensuring suitability for hygienic applications.

Special gearboxes for rotary axis applications

Neugart’s extensive modular system offers maximum flexibility for rotary axis configurations. You can choose between coaxial or angular gearbox versions and mount them either on top of the frame or beneath the tool holder—giving you full freedom to tailor the setup to your needs.
